Breathing is important
I understood the importance of breathing after reading James Nestor's book, Breath. He shares a collection of stories and research around healthy breathing.
I was amazed how breathing can have a significant impact on one's life. It's something we do all day long, but rarely think about. Nobody ever told me that breathing through the nose is much healthier than breathing through the mouth.
Since reading about breathing (Breath, 😮💨 Wim Hof Method, Jaws), I've become very motivated to continue my studies around breathing.
I'm still a beginner at proper breathing, but I hope to become advanced level at some point in the future.
