Fats are the star
Fats are the star of my daily food intake. I try to eat as many natural fats as possible.
When I plan a meal, the first decision is the fat. Then comes the vegetables, followed by the ferment.
Through my reading exploration into nutrition, I am a firm believer that fats, including saturated fats, are healthy for us.

Opposing mainstream advice
You may think a high-fat diet sounds absurd and counterproductive to a new healthy lifestyle. For many years, a high fat diet has been considered unhealthy and a low-fat diet has been praised as healthy.
My diet completely disagrees with this mainstream diet advice.
The world is gaining more weight. People have a very hard time losing weight. Chronic illnesses are increasing in number and showing in younger people. All of these are unhealthy and I think itโs time for a change. The mainstream advice doesnโt seem to be working.
I will ask you to keep an open mind and do research about high fat diets before making any final opinions.
Fats are healthy
Fats are great for me. I feel great after high fat meals.
Some of my favorite fat facts:
- Fats have a very minimal effect on glucose level and insulin. The bodily process I like to avoid from carbohydrates is optimized when I eat fat.
- Fats satisfy hunger. Eating fats makes me feel satisfied for a longer period of time when compared to carbohydrates. This is why Iโm never hungry any more!

Fat is flavor
I found that my meals taste better after my lifestyle change. Why? Fat has the most flavor. As my meals became higher in fat, meals started to taste better. Every meal is packed with flavor.
Imagine eating a toasted slice of bread. Itโs great bread and it tastes good. Now imagine eating the same toasted slice of bread with melted butter. Which tastes better? The fat brings a delicious and powerful flavor to the bread.
After my lifestyle change, it became clear to me that fat can always enhance the flavor of a dish. When I use butter or lard for cooking, and pair that with spices, all mixed with my high fat foods, the meal is delicious.
